CARTIF attended the final event of the OPERE project “Strategies for Renewal and Energy Efficiency in the Public Sector”.
During the event, works developed on the pilot building – Monte da Condesa – were presented as well as the results obtained in the reduction of energy consumption, reduction of CO2 emissions and economic savings. In addition, Sergio Lorenzo presented the urban heat network with forest biomass implanted at the University of Valladolid. Next, Elena Parpal of the CSUC explained the methodology used by the Catalan universities for the joint purchase of energy supplies. Finally Juan Ortega, described the tender process for the renovation of the energy facilities of 32 buildings in the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
